Safeguarding life and the environment while streamlining and safeguarding chemical processing

OsecoElfab’s rupture discs serve our commitment to protect life within chemical and petrochemical plants by limiting impact on the ozone layer of volatile organic compounds emissions, safeguarding water supplies from chemical discharge, and protecting against catastrophic equipment failure.

Chemical Chillers

Vapor compression chiller technology uses four basic types of compressors: reciprocating, screw driven, scroll, and centrifugal. These compressors are all mechanical in nature and may require overpressure protection for safe operation.

Chemical Heat Exchangers

Heat transfer from one medium to another is widely used in chemical plants, petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries, gas processing, and power plants. They often require specialized overpressure protection.

Chemical Reactors

Reactors are designed to contain chemical reactions. They may be exothermic or endothermic and can be batch reactors, continuously stirred tank reactors, or fluidized bed reactors, among others.

Process Columns

Process towers or columns are used in distillation processes. Distillation towers or distillation columns are designed to produce varying streams according to the boiling point of those output streams.

Safety Relief Valve Isolation

Rupture discs are often used to isolate the inlet of safety relief valves to protect the valve internals from corrosive processes. ASME Section VIII recognizes the use of rupture discs under Paragraph UG-127.
