Industry application

Pharmaceutical Fermenters

Rupture discs are commonly used as the primary relief device on Pharmaceutical tanks. Rupture discs will need to withstand full vacuum, and are generally rated at approximately 45 psig. Oseco's Pro-S is an excellent choice for this application, and fits directly into existing sanitary ferrule connections.

Pharmaceutical Bioreactors

Bio processes normally require constant temperature. Biological fermentation is a major source of heat, therefore in most cases, bioreactors need refrigeration. Should refrigeration fail, the heat generated could create an unsafe operating condition and require over pressure protection.

Pharmaceutical Process Vessels

Any process vessels subject to over pressurization are candidates for rupture disc solutions.
