Today, Broken Arrow manufacturing company, Oseco, will be hosting a press conference and ribbon cutting as the celebrate the opening of their third building. The new facility doubles manufacturing and office space, totaling over 80,000 square feet. The building is a 5-million-dollar private investment in Broken Arrow.
“Oseco has steadily grown in presence in Broken Arrow since they started in 1980. They started with 5 employees and 1,500 sq feet of space and today have 80,000 sq feet of manufacturing space,” stated Wes Smithwick, BA Chamber President. “Business retention and expansion is a priority to us and seeing Oseco continue to invest in Broken Arrow is wonderful.”
The new facility, which will house both manufacturing and office space will allow Oseco to continue to expand the work they are doing. In 2017, they have already hired 10 people and their plan is to hire more.
“We decided to build a new facility that doubled manufacturing and office space because our business demand continues to grow,” Oseco President Rob Barcik said. “The new building will allow us to hire more staff, gain new technologies and expand our manufacturing capabilities.”
Oseco is a leading manufacturer of rupture discs, explosion vents and pressure relief devices. With over 30 years in the pressure management industry, Oseco develops and fabricates “Made in America” products with the highest technical specifications, quality accreditations, integral burst detection systems and industry best lead-times.
“The roots of our business have been in Broken Arrow since the beginning but the foundation of our business is our employees,” Barcik said. “A quarter of our employees have been with Oseco for over ten years, including several who have been here since day one.”
In 2014, Oseco was selected Broken Arrow Business of the Year and in 2012 was named Broken Arrow Manufacturer of the Year.
